This small cushion 40/40 cms was inspired by the V and A my favourite museum and a cnstant source of inspiration . A winter morning in the cafe left me wondering at the amazing light fittings and admiring the flowers on the grand piano seasonally themed with pussy willow and amarylis . The hare is a detail from a a later drawing in one of the galleries . Applique and machine embroidery on hand dyed vintage linen with printed cotton insert . SOLD
Images or this cushion came from details of decorations on the pots in the ceramics gallery alongside seed heads and leaves of the agapanthus in the courtyard of the V and A.
